ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸ਼ਾਪਿੰਗ ਕਾਰਟ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੈ!
A lot of dental procedures involve using a ਹੈਂਡਪੀਸ or ultrasonic ਸਕੇਲਰ. These devices spray pressurized water into the teeth while being activated. This protects the dental pulp as the burs can overheat the tooth. Therefore, causing pulp damage.
However, the pressurized water can spill out of the mouth and splatter into the patient's clothes. While this might not cause any harm, it is still an unpleasant experience. Moreover, some liquid substances that dentists use can permanently damage clothes, such as hypochlorite.
Fortunately, the patient's clothes can be easily protected with a disposable dental bib.
A disposable dental bib is a specialized piece of paper that dentists place over the patient's chest during consultation. The bib design prevents spills and dental substances from reaching the patient's clothes.
A disposable dental bib consists of a thin double-layered piece of paper. One side is made of a resistant and absorbable paper-like material.
The other side is coated with specialized plastic material. This plastic layer repels water and liquids. Therefore, preventing them from reaching the clothes underneath.
To protect the patient's clothes efficiently, the dentist must place the plastic side looking downward. This way, the spills are absorbed by the paper side first and then stopped by the plastic underneath.
